Cinema Cafe Celebrates 40 Years of Cinematic Hospitality
Opened in 1986, Cinema Cafe has grown from a bold, two-screen concept into a cherished locals’ destination, now operating five locations and 31 screens across the Commonwealth. To celebrate this milestone, Cinema Cafe will host several months of special events, promotions, and surprises designed to thank the communities that have made its legacy possible.
From its earliest days, Cinema Cafe set out to redefine the moviegoing experience by pairing the magic of cinema with warm hospitality and full-service dining. That mission continues to evolve, now with luxury recliner seating, expanded food and bar menus, and an unwavering commitment to creating memorable moments for guests of all ages and tastes.
To commemorate its 40th Anniversary, Cinema Cafe will roll out a months-long slate of celebration in 2026. Guests can look forward to a nostalgic and fun-filled lineup.
Forty years ago,
our Pembroke location opened its doors in Hampton Roads. You walked in. And you kept coming back. For first dates and family nights, rainy Saturdays and summer blockbusters, birthdays and bad weeks that needed a good movie. You did not just support us. You made us who we are.
September 4th – 10th,
we want to say thank you the best way we know how: by inviting you back to the movies.
$4 tickets for any movie, any showtime, all five Cinema Cafe locations — including our ImmersiveX premium auditoriums.
No codes. No catch.
Just the movies, the food, and the people who have been here with us for forty years.
Tickets go on sale Tue, Sep 1st.
Valid September 4–10, 2026. All movies, all showtimes, all Cinema Cafe locations, including immersiveX.
No promo code required. Just show up.
